Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT)
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), an ‘Institution of National Importance’ is established under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India through an Act of Parliament namely ‘Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Act, 2007’. The Institute is located at Jais, District- Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, India and also having two centres namely- Assam Energy Institute (AEI), Sivasagar and Energy Institute, Bengaluru (EIB).
RGIPT offers 4-year Undergraduate Programme in several engineering branches; 3-year BBA Programme; 2-years Postgraduate Programme in engineering branches and management studies; 2-years Professional Programme for executives in the management disciplines; 3-years Diploma Programme in engineering and Ph.D. in relevant areas.
