In 2018, Policy framework to promote and incentivize enhanced recovery methods for Oil & Gas was introduced. The policy will apply to all oil & Gas fields across all contractual regimes and includes both enhances and improved recovery methods. The policy provides various fiscal incentives such as reduction in Oil Industry Development cess and reduced Royalties, for Oil & Gas production through ER & IR methods
